SiWhite
Absolutely beautiful Nick, it's a work of art. How have you managed to mount that space-saver spare tyre in the offside rear wheelarch?
istruggle2gate11
You might be a touch late on the above- come back in 6 months and I might have something just like that! Watch this space. (nick- love it mate- very excited too!) We could have a race then! - Ive got 4 months to get ready for the new RTV/CCV season! I have made a start on a beast I bought last year, a very poorly exicuted bobtail with 3.5l janspeed turbo. If it turns out ½ as good as the one above and dollys, then I will be happy Sorry about the pics, its a combination of Sodium Lighting and Mobile Phone Pictures. Got the usual corrosion on the bulk head and rear wheel arches to beat out, shot blast, then go go go! Rog
Tangoman
Am already on the front wings tube bent up but won't be fitted before slindon as to much else to do.Will warne you hit on the rear wheelarchs not covered but the plan is it won't get muddy as I won't have enough power with the TDI to spin the wheel. dollythelw
Rog - cut the footwells now and it will save you a load of probs later - press a pan to just under where the pedal box mounts and full width of the footwell, cut back 20mm of floor space - that way you can get the axles swinging on decent sized tyres without body lifts, it keeps your CofG nice and low,
