McS Junior
How easy is it to chuck a set of '87 RRC front seats into a Defender? Is there a big improvement in comfort?? Quick response appreciated! Cheers, Ross
mmgemini
I've not done it Ross but I understand that the seat slides fit the Defender holes in the seat box. HTH I eat rat poison mike I can cause trouble in an empty house !!!
sgnas
Helped put the back seat from a RaRo into a series front bench once. The extra height would put a tall person close to the roof. I imagine the same would go for the fronts.

western
I've sen it done on a 'E' reg 110sw, seats are OK but a tall drivers head would rub the headlining, it would drive me nuts.
landrover598
I've fitted the drivers side into a defender Still got the passengers side to do The sliders holes don't match up, but i drilled new holes and welded nuts to big spreader plates underneath You'll need an electric sut off switch and york connector for the battery as you can't remove the seat base! Much much much comfier B) and a better driving position too B) I'm 6ft and don't come close to touching the roof
