white90
Probably someone nearer than me,BBC/shrek But I purchased a 52mm 1/2 drive socket from the motor factors for £11 makes doing bearings a doddle.

sean f
If Shrek can't sort you out with a hub spanner in time, send me a PM and I will see what I can do.
TheRecklessEngineer
Use a cold chisel on the corner of the nut. Worked for me when replacing bearings at the side of the road (well, it was a f' huge screwdriver rather than a chisel...)
Milemarker Type S
Ok as an emergency get you home measure... but it will destroy the nuts and you have no way of adjusting them properly with a chisel when doing them up- the bearing will either be too loose or too tight. I have sent Smo my number and will drop one off to him when he lets me know where he is!
