landmannnn
Bush wires. Not a very good idea to use them on the road in case you run into a pedestrian and remove parts of their body. If you go into B&Q they have a section with steel cable and the appropriate connectors.

First_Fleet
Not a very good idea to use them on the road in case you run into a pedestrian and remove parts of their body. Not just unwise, but illegal on the public highways according to posts on here & elsewhere.
Yudda
Called branch deflectors in the US... i cant link to it....but follow this: www.d-90.com then click in the top menu - CUSTOM MODS then on the left menu - Branch Deflectors. its a D.I.Y.....real simple. and the main part that tensions the cable...is called a turnbuckle. Used a lot in boat rigging....also FYI, boat supply stores have them available in stainless. Hope i helped, rob

Dunc
So the connectors are easily removable for road use? Very, just simple miniature 'D' shackles, like this;
stageonesimmo
Must learn to read all of the posts before replying - sorry Landmannnnn I'd be interested to know how you intend to fit these to your disco - have you got a bull bar, as they would be hard to fix neatly/strongly to the wings of a disco......... First_Fleet
Wouldn't you just drill a hole right through the A Post & another through the headlamp & bung it there? Of course, you may need longer shackles. Is it April yet?
