Anderzander
My wife wanted us to take the Landy up to the lakes to have our Christmas lunch in the Landy So We packed up Snowman (check) Tinsel (check) - and we're off! a few views along the way.... Up Kirkstone pass.. Dropping down the other side towards Ullswater.. Near the bottom.. Then onto the old coach road with a splash! Its not at all challenging to drive - but the views on a sunny day are just beautiful We drove to the foot of that fell in front turning right across it.. We turned the Landy around to get the wind out the back and parked up... and this was the view out the back door... awesome Then we fired up the stove... and voila! Christmas lunch (although we forgot the gravy!) After lunch we had a hot chocolate and had the Christmas day bloated feeling - so a quick walk to regain our composure Then back to the Land Rover - looking marvellous as it does.. A bit further down the lane we met some friendly horses.... Then we parked up again to look out over St. Johns in the Vale as the light faded and drink tea.. and home again.... great day
