Shaneshaneukuk
Hi, Can I fit a heater blower from a td5 defender into my 200tdi? and is it a easy change? cheers. Shane
western
if you mean the complete heater assembly that lives under the bonnet, I believe it is slightly taller & has a slightly bigger matrix inside the box. it fits the same as the existing unit. but doubt you will feel any difference. Ian M
the connector will be different, but you can just cut it out and solder the wires together. Ian
cabell
I have done this on my 200tdi. The outlets on my td5 heater exit the top and are oriented straight toward the front of the truck. I used very late 300tdi ROW hoses on my LHD truck and it works great. As mentioned above, you need to change the plug. I also opened up the hole in the bulkhead to match the heater outlet. 40% +/- increase in area = more flow.
