Drizz
Will 24 spline internals fit in a 10 spline axle casing?
Dave W
Will 24 spline internals fit in a 10 spline axle casing? Yes... but why would you ? (unless you're changing to upgraded kit)
Drizz
Because we have a set of ten splines in the garage and want to rebuild them off the vehicle, and have the cases powder coated. Saves disabling the vehicle whilst we do it

Saves disabling the vehicle whilst we do it If you are upgrading to extra strength after market internals then fine, if you keep stock the you are better off buying a complete axle. Have you considered the differences between axle cases? If you upgrade a 10 spline axle to 24 spline you will still be stuck with the older style case. I am not sure what this will affect but certainly LR decided to move from 6 bolt ends to 7 bolt on the later front axle. This was presumably to increase the strength? Marc. Brian S
Dan, I know where someone is breaking a couple of 300 Disco's and will have the diffs available cheap. Would it be better to buy these?
