DefcoL
Hi, bit of a prob. MOT tomorrow and the flashers have gone to sleep. hazards working, fuses in cab ok . but not working with stalk. Is there another set of fuses to check? or can anyone help me to see the light? TIA loz
GBMUD
May well be the hazard light switch - all the indicators pass through it. It is a fiercely complicated switch with a lot of connections... and priced to match. Assuming you have eliminated the stalk it is the most likely culprit. Try 'fiddling' the switch and see if the indicators start working again. Chris
SteveG
Once you've checked out the fuses as Chris advised, stalk is common problem and pricey too IIRC. Steve
DefcoL
Thanks Chris / Steve I am not confident on electrics and don't have any test equipment, so Looks like it is time to spend out on an auto electrician.
western
all the fuses are in front of gearlevers below dash, get the cover off & pull each fuse in turn, clean the end caps & refit, could just be a dirty connection or blown fuse.
TJN
Take the glass off and check that the bulbs are fitting nice and snug, chased mine for several hours before finding this to be the problem.
