Les Henson Posted April 25, 2009 Share Posted April 25, 2009 The filler/level plug on the swivel housing can sometimes be very difficult to remove. A 13mm spanner usually does it, but if the spanner slips, then vice grips or similar are then needed, which may well ruin the plug. You can use a normal socket to remove it though - just the wrong way round. You need a 15mm 1/2 drive socket and ratchet/T-bar. Put the socket the wrong way round on the plug, then put the square drive of the ratchet/T-bar in the wrong end of the socket. You can then undo the plug in the same fashion as undoing a normal nut/bolt. Les. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
