hello kirsty22

congratulations on being member number 1000....

In answer to your question, lots will, and some won't - most can be made to though.

It also depends on what you are trying to achieve. Almost all the the bits will - for example a SIII bulkhead will fit a sII chassis, but it's not the right bit! What sort of things are you looking at doing?

Cheers

Mark

as stated above, also there was some major changes in the cabin, such as the SIII having a large dash across the whole fo the vehicle with an in-built duct for air, while the SII only has the small centre dash.

The SII has a small heater matrix within the cab on the bulkhead, while the SIII has a seperate blower and seperate heater matrix mounted in the engine area. This SIII set-up requires a hole in the wing to take air in, so depending on whether LHD or RHD will depend if you have a hole in the right or left wing which the SII won't require.

Haynes do a Series restoration manual, very informative on details :)

You got a Series? just finished the restoration of a SIII

Rob has passed his test now... he could take you out in his to look for one AND help you restore it! ;)

I've seen a couple 88's in fields and drives that haven't moved for years in the area, also in particular an old S2A with no engine and front axle, there's plenty about in Wilts :)
