Fish13
Hi, I have 235 / 70 / R16 AT's. What is the ideal tyre pressure to be running front and back? Cheers, Fish.
LR90
Ideal varies with so many things but for starters what are your usual axles weights and the tyres quotes max load capability?
Fish13
Sorry, When I said ideal, I meant more along the lines of common? It's a classic Rangie and I am just after ball park figures! Cheers, Hugo.
fisha
rough ball park figures for what i generally use across most of the landies i've had . . . 30 on the front 38 to 40 on the rear.
Fish13
Cheers Donald! Sounds right from other people's replies! Many thanks.
bishbosh
IIRC the "standard" pressures are 28 front 38 rear. Before the bobtail I was running 28 - 35 as 38 was too firm for me.
Dunc
I know it's lazy, but i bung the airline on and have 32 all round (when i check them!) and she rides lovely. When she's got a load in or i'm towing, i make sure the rears have got 35. That's with 235/70r16 A/Ts. Just for the hell of it, picture from this sunday... What a wonderful birthday present that snow made!
