temp sender... disco 200tdi onto a def

Hi all,

I put a disco engine into a defender and i know that need to change the sender for the temp to read correctly on the dash.

I have tried (i think) a NA diesel sender as it has the same thread as the disco but it reads high.

So any on have the part number of the sender i need?

Don't know a part number, but I used the one from the TD engine which I replaced with a Disco 200tdi.

It threaded straight in without any adaptors which some say are (may) be needed.

Yep, the 2.5TD sender will fit & work with the original temp gauge.

Hi,

I tried my original TD sender when I converted to the Tdi - I found it read high and so have fitted the sender that Steve Parker supplies.
