rich90
Hi I've noticed that my rear propshaft has come loose from the transmission brake drum. When I tried to tighten the nuts, the bolts keep spinning and I can't remove the nuts. Grrr... Is there a simple way to remove them? Are the propshaft bolts held by splines on the flange? western
The bolts are normal hex head & one flat sits against the prop flange centre to stop the bolt turning
landmannnn
Sounds like someone has used the wrong nuts and bolts.
dantd5
Mine spun for real . Got me swearing like mad and in the end I destroyed the thread. Ordered 8x from Lrseries.. FRC3602 for rear and BT606101L for front. Does cost a fortune

Gromit
if you can get the nuts off (by cuting or other method) there's a single nut that retains the drive flange. Be prepared for some oil leakage when you remove the flange. There's a large circlip that retains the bolts to the flange. Just get replacement 8.8 bolts and locnuts from your local fastner shop. I think they are 3/8 BNC.
