Keith Keir Posted July 6, 2009 Share Posted July 6, 2009 I seem to be getting a rather loud click noise when braking hard sometimes it does it when braking softly aswell, Anyone have any ideas as to the cause of this? I am about to replace the brake pads and possably discs soon. So anyoen have any ideas to what is causeing this to click once it clicks its feels like the brake pedal goes in a little bit, like harder on if you get me. Keith. Keith. Brake pads slightly seized in the caliper? The brake pedal going down a bit more when the noise occurs makes me wonder whether it's something like that. BogMonster Posted July 7, 2009 Share Posted July 7, 2009 Apart from the above a loose radius arm bolt can also do this, the bush moves slightly with the twisting force applied to the axle by the brakes.
