flatback90
i'm a bit confused.com at the moment what with the driver tellin me one thing and me thinking another.....anyhoo if we are running +5"shocks front and rear do we need to A. run +2" mounts front and rear (my theory) B. run std or -2" mounts front and rear (drivers theory) think its my theory that's the correct one as it means we get 2" more up travel and 3" more down travel my driver reasons that we run standard or lower as it will let the axle drop further? i reckon it'll just bust the tops out of the shocks
jcwcooper
If you do A or B wouldnt you knaker the shocks either way?.......you would need somthing like gwyns mounts which I belive are plus 5"? http://www.gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/page24.html Dave. Anderzander
Gwyn's mounts are +2", which gives 2" more compression travel and 3" more rebound with a +5" shock. That's the way to go.
