Disco 2 wheelbearing

just fitted a island 4x4 bearing to the back of my disco worked but dont seam as good quality as the timken bearing i fited to the front abot 6 months ago but only time will tell the next one i do i think will come from here http://www.foundry4x4.co.uk/Land%20Rover/P...ts.asp?cat=4003 but more money but a genuine part

and range rover bearing wont fit unless you fit the rr axle i took the old front bearing to bits and there are no replace able parts

The bearings themselves arent replaceable but the hubs are the same as fitted to the P38,both front and rear.

Be aware that the copy items have a habit of allowing grease to pass the internal seals and foul the ABS COLLECTOR RING ,in turn causing your ABS lights to illuminate.

Recently fitted a non genuine one,and had the above issue.After fitting a new senso discovered it was grease on the ring causing the problem.

One to be aware of.
