barmiebrumie
Brian, just read your list & first thoughts were where do you keep all that, then sat & went trough what I emptied out of my Disco when I broke it & guess what was just about the same no wonder it was sooooooooooooo slow John
Briandisco
I know what you mean. You just acquire stuff over time and then feel you can't do without it. I still have plenty of space for some luggage and family but I could be getting better mpg. Must ditch the family I guess Brian
MartinK
Wow - impressive list, Briandisco. I carry: Waterproof jacket Torch (maglite 2D) Multitool Standard Jack Usually have a 27mm socket & wrench (don't trust the original) gaffa & insulation tape zip ties tow rope (hopefully for me to help someone else!) bungee cords (for securing loads in the back) extra reversible screwdriver (usually used for replacing bulbs in rear light clusters) Sometimes I have a few spare bulbs WD40 (actually not WD40 but an equivalent) Oil for top-ups (3 litre Castrol) A few supermarket & bin bags for putting dirty loads in the back. Warning triangle First Aid kit Bits of change (£) in the ashtray for phone calls & road tolls, parking Maps (usually just a road atlas) Tie-down-straps (for securing loads in my trailer) RAC card! Just now I also have a spare fuel filter I have a GS 5-seat which has "panniers" instead of the 6/7 seats - the items above usually live in there...
