trickydicky
hi everybody i fitted the springs today it has leveled her up and it seems more solid around islands its only about 10 to 15mm but i think it did need doing. after serching google i found out any of the springs arnt interchangable whith 110 or 130s. thay have wider coils so the other springs i have left must be from a disco,rr classic,or a 90 but witch one who knows. but if nothing else when i look underneath she looks muddy, covered in grass and she also now has 2 shiney springs. dscha
Hi, i have a question regarding the free lengths of the springs. According to the colour codes the difference between driver and passenger side is about 15mm. Why is this? Thanks dietmar
Ex Member
It is supposed to be to offset the weight of the driver... It is worse with a LHD as the engine and gearbox are offset to the left. It does vary though. Some specs show the same spring left and right for RHD and different for RHD.
