We did slightly better than expected considering the amount of time spent on the car park fixing electric cooling fan issues and melted wiring, what makes it worse its a top of the range Pacet ProFan and thats now the second one thats gone, just got it working then POP it would go again so a proper pain, if I'd have put old Mondeo one's or something similar I feel sure they'd still be OK.

But great day, and good punches on a small site thourghly enjoyed it, good fair Marshalling, and a good bunch of competitors.

Thanks to the Welsh boys for the "Oggie" it was superb, stand by for some fresh "Oatcakes" on your home ground.

Look forward to seeing you all next month, thanks to all involved again, well done Matt. smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Thanks for the feedback chris glad you enjoyed it :):):)

Can someone tell me how I ended up filthier than anyone else? Did I do the same challenge as everyone else?

The washing machine is still recovering from the deryshire mud overload when shorts, teeshirt, socks and boots were carefully inserted yesterday by 'er indoors....

When we finished and handed in the punch cards, I could see no-one who had more mud and clag on them than me! I'm gonna blame Daf for finding the muddiest, wettest and most boglike punches on which to finish me off!

Very nice to finish where we did, complete surprise to both of us!

thanks to Matt and his team of helpers for a very enjoyable event. The next one won't have anywhere near the 'texture' of this one!! Unless they send us into......no, they can't, can they?

Anyway - for those camping at Nant-y-ffrith, for some good food and proper ale, go to the Tyn-y-capel pub in Minera (LL113DA) which is about 2 mile away, or for more ordinary watering holes there is the Kings Head pub (LL115UT) just (sort of) within staggering distance....

Many thanks to the organisers for an excellent event, that was Hollymoorside in the dry?

We had a great time despite the early retirement, roll on round 2 15 minutes from home.

Thanks again.

Guss.

Chris have I ever let you down before by not putting the photos online. Charles downloaded them from the camera last night and was going to put them on a CD this evening subject to work commitments. and then post said CD to me I will then add them to our photo gallery.

As soon as they land here Chris they will go on line as normal promise. :)
