Cynic-al Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Managed to fix the rear wash wipe & demister on the classic Now just one question... HOW DO YOU TURN IT OFF??? I flick the switch away and it wash / wipes, i flick it towards and it wipes but the only way i can stop it is to turn the ignition off. How is it supposed to work? Highway_Star Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Mine (1990) works like this. Pull it towards, it wipes twice, then goes into intermittent. ThreeSheds Posted January 26, 2010 Share Posted January 26, 2010 Mine's a pig to turn off, sometimes keeping me amused (hah!) for several minutes before I finally get it to 'latch'. I keep saying that one day I will replace the circuit with something simpler but I need to get a round tuit first... Sometimes a double-pull on the switch seems to help... Pull towards to Wash/wipe(holding it towards you to wash) to switch on.........push away(click)......... to turn off, push away again(click).
