maxtherotti
hi all not sure what forum to put this in so if mods feel may be better else where please feel free to move it my 98 disco 300tdi is coming up for needing discs and pads and i have just found that both front calipers are partially seized so seeing as im doing discs/pads and calipers what extra would i need to do to put it to vented discs on the front? my rangies allways had vented but if memory serves they had twin pipes to the caliper where as the disco has only 1? is there a easy way to do this? thanks rob
western
You'll need the correct calipers for vented disc & the disc themselves, to fit a 2 pipe caliper just use a T piece so 1 line feeds both sets of pistions,
maxtherotti
is there not a single line caliper for vented discs at all then? rob
Paul Woodward
is there not a single line caliper for vented discs at all then? Yes there is Defender 110. STC1266 & STC1267. They have 12mm mounting bolt holes, not sure what size the Disco ones are?

jbs
Ralph, I have vented callipers on the front axle that I have fitted to my 90, which after looking for parts to do the swivel rebuild on both side's found that it is in fact a 300 tdi disco axle, I got my vented callipers from Craddocks a while ago they were £75.00 each then HTH John
western
Mine came from the LRSupermarket at Liverpool, IIRC off one of the ex-NI Police 110's, been fitted for about 12 years or so, obviously disc/pads/seals have been replaced
