Night Train
Some may know I am into electric vehicles. This project has started on another forum I use. Judge Dredd 101 electric conversion. I hope he manages to see it through to the end. It would be a great project.

rusty_wingnut
that 101 chassis appears to be housing a 2.8TGV mated to a Tremec 5 speed! I want it
Mark
Strangely, that was exactly the thought I had... but I can only assume that is just a picture he has used, as he only mentions the RV8 in the text, no mention of the 2.8 etc...
Aragorn
Still OT, but is that a bespoke tremec box? It appears the main gearbox casing, and the transfer box casing are one? And although is does kinda resemble an LT230, its clearly not!
Aragorn
Ah, seems its an LT95! http://www.arewethereyet.eu/Beast/index.html
101sean
The saga of the purchase of that Dredd Shed went on for a good while on the 101 forum, he finally got it about a month ago. Be interesting to see how this develops, I like the discussion about gas turbines! He was using the chassis pic as an example, his has the the standard V8 and LT95
Aragorn
The pic of the TGV is an LT95 too, with a Zeus engineering bellhousing fitted to allow it to fit the TDi engine.
