Quagmire
I have this too! Anyone?
western
my front output had some up/down play, I bought a replacement TB from Ashcrofts. didn't have time to mess about trying to fix it as the box had a lot of miles on it, so better off with a new unit. jericho
Excessive play in the front output shaft bearings can not be adjusted out,but the bearing should be fairly easy to replace - The shaft is held in by a big circlip, and the bearing pressed onto the shaft. I looked up the figure for acceptable movement in the bearing some time ago,and was supprised by how much Landrover consider acceptable;but I don't have a manual to refer to now.
