TheRecklessEngineer
Fit a new speedo drive gear. There's a list of part numbers somewhere, although I doubt there will be one for that ratio. You should be able to get it somewhere close though.
Rich_P
The speedo head will be calibrated for the standard series transmission and tyre sizes.
missingsid
One possibility though could be pricey is to see if an electronic gearbox sender is available and fit a programmable speedo. This is what I am considering after years of speedo error in my Series 1. Marc.
DaveSIIA
The speedometer mechanism from a 2 door RRC can be fitted in to the housing for a Series IIA - the route I took when fitting 3.54 diff's to my IIA. The drive gear in the LT230 transfer box would be red if running 205R16 tyres or blue if 235/85R16 or 7.50R16. Cable would be from a 2 door RRC. There is a range of drive gears for the transfer box, so it could be worth checking the speedo accuracy against a GPS before working out which gear is closest.
