Jimmy Two-Jacks
A little while ago I posted for advice regarding oil leaking from the central section of my rear hub and someone suggested the breather may be blocked…Well have a look at the images the banjo bolt was a solid mass of rust and when I tried to renovate it i crumbled like a biscuit. Question is are these bolts called banjo bolts or is there a proper name for them? Also are they universal to Land Rover axles i.e. not model specific? LandyManLuke
Banjo joints/bolts are a common engineering design. One option is to swap the banjo for a 90 degree push fit pneumatic fitting, which is also very common, and easy to use with industrial pneumatic air line.
