how do i find my paint number???

hi,people I need to find out the colour of my 1986 110 its blue but that's the number ?????? any help would be very helpful .

No, paint code is totally seperate from VIN. your nearest LR main dealer may be able to find out if you visit with the VIN & year of Registration details.

the other 2 Stratos & Tasmin were not used on 90/110, yours is definitly as ^^^^^^^

I am assuming that the white on all the rooves is alpine white, mines a 91 90 arles blue with white roof. though it does look more cream than the sort of white i conjure up at the thought of alpine snow etc

happy to help, you might have noticed my 110 is exact same colours as your 90

Just done some repairs on my Alpine White 110 and used Rover White Diamond from Halfords. I thought it would be a different white but it is actually a very good match.

probably the same shade but different name for the car & LR range, both were part of Rover at one time.

The interesting bit is that the "experts" in Halfords told me they can't mix cans of Alpine white because it needs lead in it to get a match

I have Alpine White for my spraygun, but just wanted a rattle can for doing some little bits.

its not marine blue ive borght 2 cans of crappy gary horrible colour i have a blue 110 not gray !!!

a lot of Series LR were Marine Blue, it's very similar to Arles blue JUH [as on my 110 which is a Oct '89 reg.], bit a bit lighter IIRC.

might possibly have been resprayed by the previous owner before you bought it,

I should have looked at my 110 up to 1986 parts book, it list Stratos blue as RTC4049T = touch up or with a A suffix = Aerosol, if these are still available I've no idea.

yee it was tasmin/stratos blue ive done it now !
