Disty
So I've been advised that instead of buying the actual part (MTC8184) for the floor, that I should really get some aluminium cut to size and some struts. I have ordered the cross members for this, and would like peoples opinions and (pretty please?) pictures! Can anybody give me accurate dimensions of the floor section that I need to get cut? (I'd measure it but it's miles away!!)
Early90
Do not forget to get the top hat section,Ronnie at yrm will sort you out.I can`t measure the floor as it is covered now.
Bowie69
Give LR tolerances, I wouldn't trust dimensions from a.n.other truck, EVER. Either measure yours, get someone to measure yours that you trust, or order it over size and trim to suit.
Disty
Early90, thank you so much for posting those pictures- must be a few thousand words worth! I will measure my own truck on saturday. What kind of thing do you need to do the rivets? Any of the cheaper ones from machine mart good enough? (http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/search/filter/rivet/type/any/page/1) Time to get in contact with YRM!
