BogMonster
Woo hooo! The Argies are out! Possibly even more important than whether England win is that they don't, and I'm not even interested in football, certainly never thought I'd be rooting for the Germans Local radio is playing an appropriate song right now as I type: "Don't cry for me Argentina" :hysterical: :hysterical: Marvellous

Guest diesel_jim
The poxy UK would never do something like play a sarcastic song, it "might" offend some Argies/muslims/gays/treehuggers or anyone. good on the Falklanders for taking the pi$$ big time!! just to show how this country sucks, check this link on ORRP. it relates to a story from the BBC about how police can't chase thieves. what a crock this country is. yeah, i'm in a ginger p***y mood! deal with it! Steve King
Local radio is playing an appropriate song right now as I type: "Don't cry for me Argentina" :hysterical: :hysterical: Marvellous Back in the time of the Falklands war I was working for an indie record pressing plant. We made around 1,000 copies of a single called "Get on your bike Argentina" - it was to the tune of "Don't Cry for me Argentina". Lloyd Webber objected to the parody and all the records were scrapped and recycled. Except that's not strictly true, one escaped recycling and is lurking in the depths of my vinyl collection! BogMonster
I bet its not as good as that fine old hymn that starts "We stocked our ships full of British beer and bullets"
