Tibout Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 hi just got another landy it's a 110 300tdi. had it for like 3 weeks and the last 2 weeks the abs will start kicking at very slow speed specially when turning. i lost all the brakes yesterday had to pull the hand brake to stop. but it seems that the abs was kicking but it make such a grinding noise as if wheel bearing is gone. i've done the pads 2 weeks ago notice no play in wheel bearing. the things is that i don't know if the abs light is suppose to come on when atarting the vehicle and then turn off when reaching about 5mph! the landy never did that. any clues guys. any help more that wellcome. thierry Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
101sean Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 Yes, if have ABS the dash light should come on when you start the engine and go out when you get to 5mph or so unless there's a fault and it will stay on.
