zim
Morning, I'm looking for a couple female nexus plugs. I'm pretty sure this is the male version http://www.canford.co.uk/Products/43-306_NEXUS-TP120-Jack-plug It's to plug my helmets (peltors) into. I don't want a flange mount just a "barrel" type. Does anybody have any ideas where to buy them from ? Cheers Gordon

Bull Bar Cowboy
You may need to get an inline extension lead ............... try here ...... http://www.flycom.co.uk/prices.htm
FridgeFreezer
Are those the same thing as 3.5mm jack plugs? Because RS/Farnell/CPC/Maplins should all have them.

Nope, thicker and more poles than a 3.5mm. Used in Whirleybirds to connect the crew's headsets to the intercomm/radio. An avionics supplier should be able to get them. Andrew Cleland
Like this? http://www.showcomms.co.uk/peltor-nexus-pole-inline-socket-p-1430.html Expensive for a 4 pole jack though!
FridgeFreezer
I reckon if you look hard enough you'll find RS/Farnell etc. selling them, probably with a wacky name.
zim
Cheers for the replies. It turns out my helmets have 4 pole plugs, but the intercom system i'm grafting them to (peltor lite com) have a 5th wire which buggers things up a bit So no need for these plugs unfortunately We're going to modify the ear pieces inside the helmets instead.
