Ally V8
Have a look at the fuel pipe where it comes out of the top of the tank, they rust through and pull in air.
Bobtail
Well i changed the lift pump and filter still no better A Friend suggested the filter on the bottom of the pick up in the tank So removed sender unit from tank today and there is no filter on the bottom So poked a tie wrap down both tubes and the pick up one had something in it So a little bit of poking with a long spring and hey presto a large lump of black plop fell out Quick clean of the tube with some brake cleaner Refit and test drive and it works
