Galv bulkhead prep for painting ?

Those who have done this already........

Best sequence for painting :unsure:

T-Wash - Seam sealer - Primer - Top coat

Seam sealer - T wash - Primer - top coat

how long can you leave it after T- washing before primer and does the T-Wash have any effect on the rust resistancy :unsure:

I was told:

T-Wash - Etch Primer - High-build Primer - Topcoat(s)

Don't know where the best place to insert the seam sealer into the process would be, but apparently a high-build primer is necessary to get a perfect finish with galv.

It may be that you can get combined high-build and etch primers.
