MECCANO
Hi Guys, I would be greatly appreciative of anyone that could tell me the part number for the support bearing in the back of a discovery 2.0 mpi crankshaft, that the gearbox pinion slots into. Phil Hancock
My parts book lists both a bush and a caged roller bearing depending on age. Bush up to KA038821 Pt No 22G2076L Caged roller bearing from KA038821 Pt No AHU1026L or DAM3653L
western
AHU1026L 22G2076L DAM3653L superseded by AHU1026L had another look in microcat, all 3 of the above are listed BUT not shown in the diagram, so not able to find them by just looking for them. MECCANO
Sorry to dig this one up again guys, but for the caged roller bearing ter is a "Crankshaft spigot bush" that it sits in, then slides into the crank. Can't find it on the Russian site and i've searched aimlessly on various spares places. I keep ending back at the so called obsolete 22G2076L. Thanks Chris
Bowie69
Britcar doesn't seem to think it is obsolete, only DAM3653L: http://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php?xProd=78428&xSec=5497 Have you run Land Rover up and asked for one? Probably the fastest on this situation as that's where you are likely to get it from in the end...

Sorry i should have said brit part have them, but the cage bearing is alot easier to get hold of in the long run. Meaning i can build a stock up.
