landroversforever
Need to let everyone know what a top guy Ralph is. Gave up most of the afternoon and evening to come over and help me with fitting my Td5 Gauges. Most of the work done, and just a little work to do tomorrow. Thank you Ralph! landroversforever
Part way through the wiring. The Loom workshop last night. After all the work everything worked apart from the Tacho and the speedo. Now the tacho was an easy fix, I'd not reconnected the Alt. end of the wire when I tested the continuity . Speedo on the other hand is not working due to the following photographs: The speedo drive has broken off . I must have installed it incorrectly. And the finished drivers view: decided to put the tacho where the clock was as the wires weren't long enough. If it annoys me enough I will extend them and shuffle the gauges about . western
fuel & temp gauge wires should be have sufficient length if you de-tape the loom & have a play. worked for me, as you've seen.
landroversforever
Well the killer was the length of the LGU wire for the temp, its only just long enough as is!
western
Well the killer was the length of the LGU wire for the temp, its only just long enough as is! Thought there was some extra LGU wire in the big cardboard box, or have you used it all for the reposition at the speedo plug. ?? if t's all used, then a bit of same amp wire will do, just to extend the gauge wire.
