craig
hi i have a 300 tdi out of a disco in my 110 , whats the best way to make the temp gauge read correctly? the gauge works but doesnt read correct( hot). when i had my 90 with a 2.8 isuzu i used a gauge and universal sender from demon tweeks but cant seem to find them now. would a sender off a defender 300tdi work? thanks
Daan
Have a look at the sender; if it has a green plastic bit, it is of a discovery. It needs to have the black plastic bit, from a defender (sorry, no partnumber handy). I had exactly the same problem as yourself. Orgasmic Farmer
Closing the door after the horse has bolted mate! Handy hint. Get one that works BEFORE you take the family camping

western
try the sender from the V8, or swap the temp gauge for a 300tdi unit & green top sender AMR1425
wermy
No need to change the gauge. No guesses for how I know Just get the Defender 300TDi sender AMR3321, only costs a few quid and fits the taper threads. I got mine from an Island in the far South.
