PieEater3142
Sorry if this is a repeat question, I've looked through the archives but can't determine which wiper motor I need. I have a rear door from a 300tdi with loads of holes in (spare tyre etc). Which wiper motor do I need? PRC4612 or AMR1054? Cheers, James
Mutley
Neither of the 2 you've mentioned as they are pre the 300tdi.... I think the one you need is AMR3676 this is for 300tdi's onwards..... Hope this helps? Cheers Mutley

PieEater3142
just wondering if there is any reason I can't fit a pre 300tdi one to the door. Are all the mount holes etc in the wrong place - are they easily interchangable?
PaulMc
just wondering if there is any reason I can't fit a pre 300tdi one to the door. Are all the mount holes etc in the wrong place - are they easily interchangable? I suspect that the main differences in the earlier type are the electrical connections, rather than the mountings. This is the (factory fitted) one on my 1989 110 - .
Retroanaconda
I nicked one out of a Range Rover I found in a scrapyard. Had to make up a bracket (couple of bits of 1" ali box), change the wiring about (trial and error) and modify the arm so that it stayed within the confines of the window. Hardly plug-and-play, but it cost me a fiver.
