Footo
Can anyone supply a part number for the centre console twin electric window switches. I have searched with google but can only find the new type of switch - this is for a 1997 Defender 90. Thanks in advance Barbara
western
those don't look lime LR switches, probably adapted from another vehicle or aftermarket switches. these are the type used on Td5 onwards 90/110 http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listing/13569/YUF101521LNF-ELECTRIC-WINDOW-ROCKER-SWITCH.html?search=YUF101521LNF&page=1 are there any makers name or numbers on your switches ? electric windows wasn't a LR option in 1997

From the terminal arrangement, they look like ones from SPAL - http://www.spal.it/s...stalli_2010.pdf .

Footo
I was just looking at my previous posts before posting about something else. I never did manage to find these switches and we replaced them with something similar. After taking the door skin off to look at the central locking we found that the electric windows were fitted by Land Rover - there was a Land Rover sticker affixed to the motor with the date 1998 on it. I heard/read somewhere that the later 97 defender CSW had the correct wiring harness in place to allow for the electric windows and central locking to be fitted as an option like the 98 model. Very belated thanks for all your replies Barbara
Arluha
Hi Barbara, I have the same problem finding the correct window switch for a 1997 Defender. Can you please recommend the switch you used? thank you, Leon
