ChipperJones
Not sure if this would be in the right place or not, please relocate if need be. I recently came up on an 2001 defender 90 and im looking for a place to put my iPhone! I use my iphone for gps purposes as well as phone calls and all those other jazzy things an iphone can do. With that said, im looking for some phone mount options that fit well in the 90. Any suggestions? Im eyeing this simple iPhone car mount right now, but every time i look or search for other options, i just feel like i wish i knew someone in my situation with some experience....hence this lovely post. Any recommendations or stories from the darkside will be greatly appreciated!
V8 Freak
I've found the people at DSL Developments very helpful in the past. http://www.dsldevelopments.com/ I use a generic suction screen mount and Brodit fixings and a through port iPhone cradle. Works a treat. Call them, talk them through what you want.... Neil
TSD
The Brodit dashboard clip works well (I have my GPS mounted on one), and their phone mounts are generally good too, though I don't know anything about the iphone one.
Dave W
The Brodit system works really well. The Brodit pro clip (652583) fits really well. My iPhone has an OtterBox protective cover and the Brodit iPhone holder designed for phones with a cover works well with that (875214). You just need the pro clip and a suitable holder for your phone.
landroversforever
I just use on of the generic smart phone mounts from halfords . Works really well and doesn't wobble around much at all.
