dirtydiesel
We are in need of some new meters at work, we need nothing more than a digital display 20v dc and continuity test capability But they have to have a loud tone for continuity testing. they need to be cheap as i need 4 and i don't want to be having a baby every time the fitters run them over or take them for a swim every one i've tried so far has the most patheticly quiet bleep tone. Big.Mike
I have the same issue, why can't they add an LED as well? Try Maplin, at least you can try it. Don't buy Sealy ones, I bought one and it had the worst pizo buzzer ever... Cheers, Mike
FridgeFreezer
These are hard to beat for price: http://cpc.farnell.com/unbranded/dt830d/digital-multimeter-continuity/dp/IN05650 For £3 you can keep a bucket of them in stock for when people break them. Same thing with a Sealey (etc.) badge on gets punted out for £19.99. Can't vouch for volume.
dirtyninety
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=150737363543 Bought this as a cheapy to keep in my landrover, turns out to be be pretty damn good. Buzzer is what I would consider fairly loud.
