He was telling me about his plan to buy a local series 3 to rebuild and asked me "what would be your best advice when I start my project?" Seemed a little confused when I said "keep the nut on a few threads when you try to pull the steering wheel off!!!" Just wondering what was "your" best advice to someone when they asked for it? Don't start without: Plenty of WD-40, some Plusgas, MrAngryGrinder, a 3/4" socket set, and a selection of hammers. Plenty of beer, tea & bacon for you+your helpers. The bolt will snap or the thing will bend or you'll loose a whatsit... If you can...leave it alone. God hates a tinkerer. God, I love to tinker.
