Lewis
The bulkhead on my 90 is rotten, in particular both top corners. The previous owner was kind enough to supply the usual corner repair panels but the rot on the near side extends past the vent flap hinge, so beyond what the repair section will cover. What are the options here? I've seen the panels that YRM do but they delete the vent, which I'd prefer to keep. http://www.yrmlandrover.com/epages/BT3575.mobile/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT3575/Products/001B Is there an alternative off the shelf solution that does what I need? Or am I resorting to patchwork repair? Many thanks
Smego
Just cut a small strip of metal to go under the first hinge to fix mine attached to the repair panel
Jon White
Just cut out the old and replace with new metal. Bulkheads are nice in that it's pretty much all flat panels so very easy to repair as no compound curves. Jon

western
A mate & myself made these from 2mm sheer steel with seperate end plates a few years ago. photo's in no particular order we made the front part upper inner edge to butt up to the vent flap outer hinge outer edge & the lower inner edge butt to the bonnet hinge outer edge. no sign of any corrosion breaking through yet.
