Northern Paul
Evening all, I have recently moved up to Bristol from Devon. Loving it so far but I am looking for a Land Rover Specialist to carry out servicing and repairs on my beloved Ex Military 300Tdi 90. I am based in the SE of the city and am looking for somewhere local. So, any fellow Bristolians - who can you wholeheartedly recommend and trust? Also, interested in hooking up with a local club or locals for some greenlaning & exploring. Any locals on here willing to show a new guy around? Thank you in advance, Paul
Davedef90
Steve Hill in Brislington seems to get a good review on the Disco 3 forum
Turbocharger
Steve Hill gets decent reviews, there used to be a guy just beyond Brislington P&R on the A4 towards Keynsham too, though I've never used either. For bits, I wouldn't go anywhere other than Christian Autos on Hanham Rd in Kingswood, east end of the High St. Pete is a gentleman and leads on customer service rather than price - which usually means it's cheaper in the long run! Northern Paul
Excellent - 2 positives for the same place is great! Thank you very much
specialbikejames
Steve Hill good but expensive, save him for the bigger jobs you can't handle yourself. Land Rover Services in Bedminster are a bit rough and ready but ok for welding etc. Pete at Christian Autos is simply superb.
bishbosh
Cannot recommend a club, quite the opposite in fact - unless it has changed massively, avoid Dundry like the plague.......
