Mongrel
I have tried a search but haven't found the answer yet...so, would a Defender 10 spline diff fit into my 200 TDI rear axle? I'm assuming the rear axles must be different but I'm potentialy looking at doing a diff swap over.
Ex Member
They should be exactly the same. Front and rear 10 spline diffs are indentical.

ejparrott
90 front or rear diff will fit disco, and vise versa, but 110 rear won't - salisbury axle

Mongrel
Well that was short lived! Why do people put stuff on Fleabay when they are going to end it early if/when someone makes a good enough offer? Three days left and ended early as 'no longer available'. Boydie
Keep looking, the 10 spline 90 series Defender is stronger than the 24 spline Disco - less splines etc. try your local LR wreakers, thats where I got mine from and best you do both axles not just the rear. Mongrel
This one had an ARB diff locker and compressor attached, that was my main interest.

Phil Hancock
and the cast center is basically the same on both, just a slightly different diameter where the sun wheels are.
Hybrid_From_Hell
Only if a metric casing if centre is from imperial casing bearings are different size rtc3095 vs rtc2726. frankly just shove another diff in Rather than messing about rebuilding 2 pins they blow up too easily to spend big money or time on
