boyt
Hello, I have change the clutch on my td5 2000 disco, I changed the flywheel, clutch, release bearing, fork plastic bush, pushrod, slave cylinder, I now have a clutch that slips on light acceleration and a high clutch pedal, What's your thoughts? Hybrid_From_Hell
Have you adjusted the foot pedal base to 140mm from ffloor?

bear
Hi boyt, Had a look in Haynes and Rave and can't see any mention of pedal height adjustment. Maybe the TD5 doesn't have any unlike the D1 (Unless I'm missing something of course ) Griff
sierrafery
there's no such adjustment for D2, the only thing can think is bad clutch quality(unless it's Valeo) or the drive plate was fitted the other way round, are you certain that the flywhel side of it was took in account... happened to me(and others too) that some schmucks fitted it wrong... though then it's hard to put it in gear too
boyt
I have put 2 sets of clutchs in both valeo, valeo dmf, clutch is 100% right way around,
