The workshop manual refers to a difference between a non EDC and an EDC manaul but doesn't give a part number for the EDC auto version... Caz Waters Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 300TDI Automatic EDC 1996 TDC locking tool for this vehicle Some say its part number LRT-12-085, others say remove blanking plate and fit LRT-12-044 into the larger hole...it seems to me that the hole in the back of the torque converter is bigger than the hole in a manual flywheel (3/16") more like 1/4" and im doubtful if LRT 12-044 will screw into the larger blanking plate hole as it looks a larger thread...can anyone help?
