Simon_CSK
My disco TD5 has excessive black smoke and severely down on power when pulling away I have to rev the nuts off just to get moving. I suspect I have an injector problem. Any other possibilities?
dirtyninety
boost / turbo pipe split, blocked air intake, black smoke is a sign of not enough air, so check the cheap and easy air pipes first.
Simon_CSK
There is a bit of oil around the turbo but I cannot see any degradation to any of the pipes feeding into the turbo.
dave88sw
have you taken the hoses off to check for delamination? Have you read the ecu? Usually an injector will throw a fault code.

Divster
Have a look here; http://www.discovery2.co.uk/Injector%20Seals.html I used a long 6mm Allen key as a lever to gently remove the injectors
