These are mine old school Chicago Pneumatic.

CP772 - 3/4" Torque rating 1356Nm (1000.lbs)

An air chisel/hammer, and an air drill. My spray stuff and die grinders live in a different drawer.

The air compressor I run now is a SIP jobbie 14CFM and tbh I'm yet to have it struggle.

I keep meaning to ask....What is the purpose of having a "small" peice of air hose between the tool and the main air line?

Only just seen this thread but I will add to the IR recomendation. I bought a 2131A which I guess is slightly less powerful than the ones you are speaking about earlier.

£130 on the bay brand new.

It is AMAZING! Wheel nuts on a TK bedford that had not been touched for 10 plus years came off like my old Sealey one would take off Fiesta wheel bolts! I took off half the wheel nuts on one wheel with the air tool and half with a 4 foot breaker bar as a test. They were very very tight.
