rrr47
I have found two ex-S.A.S. Range Rovers lately, thought they may be of interest to other members. The red one was in Swansea for sale, originally from Ireland, the seller has removed the ad from Gumtree for some reason. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C559012

missingsid
The fact that you found two shows the featured ad as incorrect "four made, three crushed, only one left" the other proof of inacuracy is that unless this the Dunsfold one which also was blue there is another as well! I spent time in France with Philip Bashall and his SAS RRC where here wound up the French drivers by turning off the ignition whilst moving and ignighting the resulting fuel in the exhaust when turning it back on, silly but fun! The resulting rattleyback box was soon cured witha swift hammer blow! Marc.
il-bob
What did these Range Rovers have different then normal RRs? Rob
il-bob
Ok, read the advert which says it all
missingsid
I've been through the Dunsfold gallery and the SAS RRC does not feature so the blue one could have been Philips unless my poor memory is playing tricks again? Marc
rrr47
Was the blue one featured in a Land Rover magazine some time back? I recognize the pic of it coming out of the Chinook.
