Team Idris
I considered it, but I do challenges, so I'm no help at all But I trust Dave, so if he said it was good, and I wasn't challenged, I'd buy some. Alternative is narrow-strap, which is okay except it doesn't reeve as well as rope. Worth a ring to Damar Webbing to compare maybe? (Just so I don't look biased). bobtailrangie
Its not on his shop but the budget bowrope shackles are along with 2 downloadable flyers about it http://www.goodwinch.com/budget-bowrope-news/
simonr
Talking to David about it, the only real difference is it's abrasion resistance. I.e. It will survive less abuse. For laning & play days I would say it's ideal. With all Dyneema rope, if you wash the rope after it's been dragged through the mud, it will last MUCH longer. landrover598
My standard bowrope has survived on my truck since 2006, used for marshalling, laning and forestry work, I can't comment on the budget version though.
