Monster
Is a plastic tank from a discovery the same as the defender 300, in the same way that a metal tank from a range rover fits the early 110? I know the discovery has a different guard to the 110, but was wondering if the actual tank was the same. I have the chance of a donor discovery tank and I need one for my 110. Lewis
There was a recent thread on this subject, the consensus was that it wouldn't fit http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=94216#entry818247
greenstream
It was me starting the mentioned thread. I havent checked it myself, BUT the early 110 and RRC share the same tank. The RRC and the Disco share the same chassis - so why wouldnt toy be able to use the Disco tank. Right now I have a new 110 steel tank on the floor and upon recieving this a discovered that I had a plastic fueltank lying around. Unfortuantely I havent got the time to compare them as of yet. Ill be back.
miketomcat
The steel tanks are similar however the disco was fitted with a plastic tank that goes over the chassis rail exactly where the floor supports are on the filler side. Mike
